- Insurance renewal is pending proposal from Brown & Brown
- Bills mailed and pick up change began this week
- Garbage cost discussion
- Ordinance designating the delinquent fee collection has been advertised and will be ready for approval
- Discuss replacing Code Enforcement computer and adding a public access computer
B. Police

- 2022 Ford Explorer 4 new tires purchased at ~$140.00 per tire
- Ad posted for part-time officers through Luzerne County 911
- 2022 Ford Explorer windshield and exterior police office door damaged. Windshield has been repaired; door glass repaired on Wednesday. Restitution being sought via criminal complaint
- Officer Petrus out of field training but remains on probation
- Discussion regarding declining the Body Worn Camera Grant based on the tremendous increase in fees to purchase the equipment
C. Code Enforcement and Zoning

- Zoning 1 permit issued and 9 permits pending and 1 property inspection
- Code Enforcement has 38 open reports in first 2 weeks of July.

VI. Correspondence
A. Looking for Ideas for the Go Joe Send Off on July 25th.
B. Rally for the Mayor to be held on July 28th, 11am to 4pm
C. YMCA has requested approval to host the 19th Annual “Run for the Children” 5k Run/ Walk from 7am to 12pm on September 14th. They are requesting closure of Sabol Street from 7am to 12pm and a brief closure for the start of the race at 10am on front Street from Pine Street to Birkbeck Street.
D. The American Legion is requesting approval to hold the annual Emilio Ranieri Bike Run on August 17, 2024 from 9am-6pm. They are requesting approval to close Centre Street from South Street to Main Street.
