  • American Legion requests approval for their annual Memorial Day Parade to be held on Monday

May 27th.

  • Freeland Elementary and Middle School requests permission to close the traditional route used for the Halloween Parade to hold the 1st Annual Walk for the Whippets on May 17th. This is a fund raiser to offset costs for field trips and other school events. Principal Lagowy will file the necessary paperwork with PennDOT.
  • Hazleton Area School District requests permission to provide lunches in the Public Park from June 17th through August 8th.
