Would like to renew John Pohida’s banner. Do we need to bring the photo again?
You do not need to provide anything if you are replacing a banner that has been created previously. You simply need to contact the borough office by phone, email, or in person and request to have the banner remade and pay the $125 fee.
What is the criteria to have a loved one’s info put on one of these banners?
The person memorialized on the banners must be a military veteran. In order to produce the banner we would need the full name, branch, rank(if possible), a photo, and payment of $125.
I seen some banners marked new. I called last year and was told I could not purchase a banner cause the poles were full. I would like to purchase a banner for my dad. Please remit
This could mean that they were replaced or that they are like new condition. It does not mean that they were added. If there are spaces we will be reaching out to those who have expressed interest to have a new banner placed. Please contact the borough office at 570-636-0141 extension 2 and provide your information to the borough secretary.
